WATER FILTER TOOL
A client with limited dexterity requested the design and build of a tool that would make it easier to use a Sawyer Squeeze Water Filter.
The water filter uses a pouch that is filled with unclean water and then squeezed to filter the water into a water bottle. The client likes the filter but it's cumbersome to hold a water bottle and squeeze the water pouch at the same time.
I designed a tool that is simple, lightweight, and durable. The tool slides over the end of the water pouch and is rotated as the water is squeezed out of the pouch, through the filter, and into a water bottle.
The client is very happy with the tool since it makes it much easier and quicker to operate the filter.
